Jerome Schmitt has been doing mastering for the last 25 years with an active background in Music Production and Sound Engineer.

During this time he has been working alongside other great London Mastering Engineer like Bunt Stafford-Clarck (Townhouse) at “The Pierce Room”, John Webber (Air Studio) at “Blue Pro Mastering” and John Voda at “10th Planet” where he worked on most of the Ninja Tune and Big Dada‘s catalogue including record producer Diplo‘s first album “Florida”, Amon Tobin “Solid Steel”, Luke Vibert “Sorry I made you Lush”, Hexstatic, and Cinematic Orchestra to name a few… ).

Jerome has also established himself as a Sound Dubbing Mixer and Sound Designer for TV (BT Sport/Amazon) at “BT Studios” in London and for video projects for Sony Music, Virgin, Orange, and various film trailers. He’s music production has developed a unique blend of trip hop, electronica and nu-jazzy post-electronica and has been published by Just Isn’t Music (Ninja Tune).

Jerome started his career in the music industry as a lead guitarist and producer in the rock band Corpus Delicti in 1993. After producing the band’s three albums and touring around the globe, Jerome focused in on his studio debuts behind the desk as a mixing and mastering Engineer in the South of France, in 1997.
